Electrostatic fume purifiers decompose oil fume via electrostatic gas chemical technology to achieve purification. By virtue of the electrostatic field between two charged electrodes, tiny charged particles are adsorbed onto electrodes to complete purification.
The working process consists of three main stages:
1.Guide Layer
It guides oil fume into the purifier and realizes preliminary decomposition. Specially shaped flow deflectors are adopted to ensure efficient decomposition of oil fume.
2.Collection Layer
It collects decomposed oil fume and condenses it into oil droplets for subsequent treatment. Special functional materials are applied to facilitate smooth collection and disposal of oil droplets.
3.Barrier Layer
It isolates oil fume from purified air to guarantee stable equipment operation. Made of composite pressed fabric, it prevents gas mixing before full separation.
The purifier is composed of pre-filter screen, corona zone, adsorption zone and post-filter screen, among which the corona zone and adsorption zone are collectively known as dust collection unit.
The pre-filter intercepts large particles to prevent abnormal discharge inside the unit.
As the core filtering component, the corona zone is made of tungsten wires and metal plates to generate corona discharge under high voltage; the plate-type adsorption zone traps contaminants for purification.
The post-filter performs final filtration, and clean air is discharged by fan.
Purification efficiency is directly determined by the intensity of high-voltage electric field.
Oil fume waste gas is drawn in by fan, and oil contaminants enter the high-voltage electrostatic field. The field is divided into two stages: in the primary corona zone, fine particles get charged under strong electric field; charged oil fume particles are then captured by collecting electrodes in the secondary adsorption zone. Finally, air passes through grille filters and is discharged clean.
