It adopts the counter-current gas-liquid contact principle to transfer pollutants from waste gas to liquid and achieve gas purification.
1. Classification of Spray Towers
Spray towers can be classified in different ways. By treatment property, they are divided into acid scrubbers and alkaline scrubbers. By structure shape, they can be vertical or horizontal towers. By material, they include stainless steel, fiberglass and PP spray towers. Diversified classifications enable the equipment to adapt to various working conditions. 2. Working Principle

For example, alkaline liquid can neutralize hydrogen sulfide and convert harmful gas into harmless salt substances.
Gas-Liquid Separation: A demister is installed at the upper section of the tower to remove entrained liquid droplets. Common demister types include wire mesh and corrugated plate structures. Removing mist droplets guarantees clean exhaust gas and prevents damage to subsequent environmental equipment.
Purified Gas Discharge: Treated gas is discharged from the tower top in compliance with environmental emission standards to reduce atmospheric pollution.
Circulating Liquid Reuse: The internal liquid is circulated continuously by water pumps to improve reagent utilization rate. Pollutants accumulated in circulating liquid are discharged regularly. The circulating system saves water consumption and reduces chemical dosage. Optimized circulation design can reduce reagent consumption by 40% and energy consumption by 35% compared with traditional equipment.
3. Structural Composition
Tower Body: The main structure is made of corrosion-resistant materials such as PP, stainless steel and fiberglass. High anti-corrosion performance ensures stable operation under harsh chemical conditions and prolongs service life.
Spray Nozzle: As one of the core components, nozzles atomize liquid into fine droplets. Spiral nozzles are widely used to increase liquid coverage and gas contact area.
Packing Layer: Fillers such as polyhedral hollow balls and Raschig rings are installed inside the tower. The packing layer enlarges the gas-liquid contact area and improves absorption and chemical reaction efficiency.

Liquid Collection Tank: Located at the tower bottom for liquid storage, circulation and sewage discharge. Reasonable tank design ensures stable liquid circulation and continuous equipment operation.
