Structural Composition
Main components: Air inlet pipe, contraction pipe, throat pipe, diffusion pipe, spray pipe, circulating water tank, circulating water pump and air outlet. The cross-section is available in circular and rectangular shapes.
Working Principle
After entering the contraction pipe, the velocity of dust-laden gas gradually increases, and pressure energy is converted into kinetic energy. The gas velocity reaches the maximum of 50-180m/s at the throat inlet. The washing liquid is injected through nozzles evenly distributed around the throat. Liquid droplets are atomized and accelerated by high-speed airflow. Dust particles are captured through inertial collision and diffusion. The dust-containing droplets flow into the diffusion pipe with gradually reduced velocity and recovered pressure. The gas-liquid mixture enters cyclone separators or demisters for separation, and the purified gas is finally discharged.
Classification
According to working characteristics: Fixed-flow venturi dust collectors and variable-flow venturi dust collectors. The fixed throat type requires constant airflow to maintain stable pressure difference and collection efficiency. The variable-flow type adopts adjustable throats to adjust damper positions for constant pressure difference and efficiency.
